FLOOD STATEMENT
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE INDIANAPOLIS IN

...The Flood Warning is no longer in effect for portions of the
following river in southwest Indiana...

  Wabash River...


.The Wabash River in the Mount Carmel area fell below flood stage
this morning for the first time in more than five weeks.


Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...

Be alert to flood debris on previously flooded roads. Keep children
away from flooded areas. Recreational and agricultural interests
should remain alert to changing river conditions.

The Flood Warning is cancelled for
  The Wabash River at Mount Carmel.
* At  9:45 AM Wednesday the stage was 18.9 feet.
* Flood stage is 19.0 feet.
* Fell below flood stage at  8:17 AM Wednesday.
* Forecast...The river will continue to fall to 17.2 feet by tomorrow
  morning.
