FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR ALASKA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE ANCHORAGE AK
327 PM AKDT MON JUL 6 2015

.DISCUSSION...

NO SIGNIFICANT CHANGE IN THE WEATHER PATTERN IS EXPECTED OVER THE
NEXT SEVERAL DAYS. A FRONT CURRENTLY PUSHING THROUGH THE BRISTOL
BAY AREA WILL CONTINUE TO BRING RAIN TO THE MAJORITY OF SOUTHWEST
ALASKA THROUGH TOMORROW AFTERNOON...MAKING WIDESPREAD WETTING RAINS
VERY LIKELY. RAINFALL WILL TAPER OFF FROM SOUTH TO NORTH TUESDAY
AFTERNOON BUT SCATTERED SHOWERS WILL PERSIST THROUGH AT LEAST WEDNESDAY.
TEMPERATURES WILL REMAIN COOLER AND CLOSER TO NORMAL VALUES AS SOME
COLDER AIR MOVES IN BEHIND THE FRONT ON TUESDAY...WHICH WILL ALSO
LEAD TO RELATIVE HUMIDITY VALUES REMAINING ON THE HIGH SIDE BOTH AT
NIGHT AND IN THE AFTERNOON.
