The weekend is looking warmer and drier, with 70s to lower 80s by Sunday. There are elevated fire weather concerns on Sunday for areas where greenup has not yet occurred in southeast MT, northwest SD, and Sheridan County, WY because of a combination of warm temperatures, winds gusting to 35-45 mph, and minimum relative humidity near 20 percent. The warmup will be short-lived as confidence is high that a dynamic spring storm system will impact us early next week...with significant rain and mountain snow, and strong winds.
