Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
140 PM EST Sun Feb 26 2017

.DISCUSSION...High pressure will shift off the East Coast Monday
allowing some moisture to return to the area. Moisture will still
be shallow however allowing for minimum RH values around 30
percent. Expect increasing cloudiness and SE surface winds from 5
to 10 mph. Transport winds will also be out of the SE from 10 to
15 mph. Any showers should hold off until late in the day.

Tuesday, warm advection and increasing moisture may allow showers
and thunderstorms Tuesday afternoon. Surface winds will be S/SW
from 5 to 10 mph with transport winds from 15 to 20 mph. RH values
will be above critical levels.

Fog may be possible Monday night with increasing low level
moisture.
