FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR SOUTHEAST MICHIGAN
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DETROIT/PONTIAC MI
420 AM EDT SAT MAR 28 2015

.DISCUSSION...ARCTIC HIGH PRESSURE WILL SLIDE OVER THE AREA TODAY AND
THEN TO OUR SOUTHEAST SUNDAY. SOUTHWEST WIND WILL THEN INCREASE AS
THE NEXT LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM APPROACHES THE NORTHERN GREAT LAKES.
MILDER AIR MOVING INTO THE REGION WILL BRING A ROUND OF RAIN SHOWERS
THAT WILL MIX WITH AND CHANGE BACK TO SNOW SUNDAY NIGHT AS THE
ASSOCIATED COLD FRONT MOVES THROUGH THE REGION. THE AIR WILL BE
COLDER BY MONDAY BUT NOT AS COLD AS WHAT WE HAVE SEEN SO FAR THIS
WEEKEND. A RETURN TO NORMAL TEMPERATURE IS EXPECTED DURING THE MIDDLE
PORTION OF THE WEEK.
