Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR West Texas/Southeast New Mexico
Nantional Weather Service Midland/Odessa TX
315 AM CDT Sun Apr 23 2017

.DISCUSSION...

Below normal temperatures and light winds today will limit fire
weather concerns. Above normal temperatures will return Monday,
with increasing winds across the Guadalupe Mtns and Eddy County
Plains yielding potential critical fire weather conditions as RHs
drop to around 5% there Monday afternoon. Tuesday is of more
concern as winds increase significantly areawide, and RHs remain
below 15% for all locations. Critical fire weather conditions are
likely Tuesday for the Guadalupe Mtns, SE NM Plains, and Van Horn
Area. Green-up elsewhere precludes concerns for now, though rain
chances remain slim to none.
