Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Middle Tennessee
National Weather Service Nashville TN
555 AM CST Tue Dec 12 2017

.DISCUSSION...Colder air will push into the area today and tomorrow,
with dew points and relative humidity values taking a significant
tumble this afternoon through Wednesday.

A marginal fire danger is possible as early as this afternoon across
the Highland Rim District, with the expectation of humidity values as
low as 30 to 35 percent and wind speeds around 15 mph. A marginal
fire danger is likley over all of the Mid-State Wednesday afternoon,
with lowest humidity values forecast to be near 35 percent and wind
speeds of 15 to 20 mph.

Our atmosphere will moisten up a bit on Thursday and Friday. However,
another dry air mass will overspread the Mid-State Saturday
afternoon, with humidities dropping into the 35 to 40 percent range
and south winds to around 10 mph.

A chance for showers moves in over the latter part of the weekend and
early next week, with lowest afternoon humidities expected to remain
above 45 percent both Sunday and Monday.
