.BROADCAST DISCUSSION...Cold front moves east of the Willamette
Valley by late morning and across the Cascades by mid afternoon.
Showers with possible afternoon and early evening thunderstorms.
Showers decrease through Saturday but next rain arrives Sunday.
The wet pattern continues into next week with short periods of
little or no rain.

.DISCUSSION...A cold front moves east of the Willamette Valley by
late morning and across the Cascades by mid afternoon. Showers
with possible afternoon and early evening thunderstorms with small
hail. Showers decrease through Saturday as a transient upper
ridge builds over the Pacific Northwest. However the next system
arrives Sunday with precipitation through Monday. It appears the
active wet pattern will continue through next week with only short
