ZONES 228 THROUGH 237...WHICH INCLUDES Southern EL PASO...
PUEBLO...HUERFANO...LAS ANIMAS...CROWLEY...OTERO...KIOWA...

.Discussion...

Red flag conditions are near certain over most of the plains today
and all of the plains on Thursday. The severity of today`s conditions
will be more widespread than yesterday.

Conditions on Thursday could be equally as bad, if not worse. Winds
on Thursday will likely be stronger than today which could make
conditions even worse. the worst area will be over Baca county where
EXTREME conditions are likely.

Friday through the weekend, cooler air should move into the region
and winds should decrease, allowing the fire danger to subside.

Strong winds will result in good or better ventilation rates across
the entire district for the next couple days.

--- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds ---
