Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
310 PM MST Tue Jan 23 2018

.Discussion...
Dry and warmer weather is expected through Thursday with winds
on the increase through the period. Weather conditions will hit
critical fire weather conditions across the southeast mountains and
southern portions of the southeast plains, however given the recent
snow cover and fuels reports, fire weather highlights are not
anticipated at this time unless fuels dry out sufficiently.

The next system will bring a quick shot of snow to the mountains on
Friday and a slight cool down for the plains through Saturday though
most of the plains should stay dry. Another warming and drying trend
will set in for early next week.

Dispersions will rise into the good or better range across the
mountains on Wednesday while the plains and San Luis Valley remain
poor. Afternoon dispersions will increase on Thursday due to
stronger winds.
