FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR WEST VIRGINIA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE CHARLESTON WV
641 PM EST MON DEC 22 2014

.DISCUSSION...
A WARM FRONT WILL MOVE NORTH TONIGHT...BRINGING SOME RAIN TO THE
AREA INTO TUESDAY. THE CHANCES FOR RAIN WILL INCREASE TUESDAY NIGHT
INTO WEDNESDAY AS A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM MOVES NORTHEAST...JUST WEST
OF THE AREA. THIS SYSTEM WILL THEN PUSH A COLD FRONT THROUGH THE
AREA WEDNESDAY NIGHT.

CHRISTMAS DAY IS EXPECTED TO BE CLOUDY WITH NEAR SEASONABLE
TEMPERATURES. BUT WINDY CONDITIONS WILL MAKE IT FEEL COLDER.

THERE WILL BE A CHANCE FOR SOME LIGHT RAIN OR DRIZZLE...WITH THE
HIGHER ELEVATIONS OF THE MOUNTAINS POSSIBLY HAVING SOME LIGHT SNOW
OR FLURRIES.

A WINDY CHRISTMAS EVENING WILL GIVE WAY TO A TRANQUIL FRIDAY. AN
UNSETTLED PATTERN BEGINS FOR THE REST OF THE WEEKEND AND EARLY NEXT
WEEK.
