FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR SOUTHERN/CENTRAL MO AND SE KS
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SPRINGFIELD MO
235 PM CDT TUE SEP 2 2014

.DISCUSSION...

SHOWERS HAD DIMINISHED ACROSS THE AREA THIS AFTERNOON WITH CLOUDY
SKIES STILL OVER THE AREA. THE BOUNDARY THAT WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR
THE RAIN WILL BEGIN TO LIFT BACK NORTH TONIGHT. THIS WILL RESULT
IN A CHANCE FOR MORE SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS...
ESPECIALLY LATE TONIGHT WITH THESE CHANCES CONTINUING INTO
WEDNESDAY. AFTER A DRY DAY ON THURSDAY...RAIN CHANCES ENTER THE
PICTURE AGAIN FRIDAY AND SATURDAY AS A COLD FRONT PUSHES THROUGH
THE AREA. UNTIL THE FRONT MOVES THROUGH WARM AND HUMID CONDITIONS
WILL BE THE RULE...WITH COOLER AND LESS HUMID CONDITIONS EXPECTED
BEHIND THE FRONT FOR THE WEEKEND.
