Northwest Louisiana...East Texas...and Extreme Southeast Oklahoma
National Weather Service Shreveport LA
619 AM CST Sun Feb 25 2018

.DISCUSSION...
An area of rain stretching across Toledo Bend to near the Interstate 20
corridor in northcentral Louisiana, will begin to slowly move northward
later this morning. Much of the area will see at least occasional light to
moderate rainfall this afternoon with light northeast winds becoming easterly
around 10 mph. This rain will diminish during the evening and the first rainfree
day in awhile will be seen areawide on Monday with winds from the east at 5 to 10
mph and afternoon relative humidities ranging from 45 to 55 percent. Rain and
thunderstorms will quickly return to the area one more time Tuesday and continue
through much of Wednesday. In addition to the threat of more heavy rainfall, a few
storms may also contain strong gusty winds. Several days of dry weather will finally
return to the region, beginning around Thursday.
