WITH INCREASING MONSOONAL MOISTURE AND INSTABILITY, AFTERNOON AND
EARLY EVENING THUNDERSTORMS ARE LIKELY TO DEVELOP OVER THE MOUNTAINS
AND PORTIONS OF THE DESERTS THROUGH AT LEAST TUESDAY, WITH
DECREASING CHANCES WEDNESDAY INTO THURSDAY. THE THUNDERSTORMS MAY
INITIALLY PRODUCE DRY LIGHTNING STRIKES TODAY AND SATURDAY, AND THEN
BECOMING MAINLY WET STRIKES BY SUNDAY. OTHERWISE, HIGH PRESSURE
ALOFT WILL BRING FAIR AND WARMER THAN NORMAL WEATHER, WITH DAY-TIME
HUMIDITY FALLING TO THE 20S TO TEENS FOR FAR INLAND AREAS WITH
MODERATE TO GOOD OVERNIGHT RECOVERIES.

...DISCUSSION FROM PHXFWFPSR...

INCREASING MOISTURE INTO THIS WEEKEND WILL BRING BETTER CHANCES OF
THUNDERSTORMS...ESPECIALLY STARTING SATURDAY. MAX TEMPS WILL REMAIN
WELL ABOVE NORMAL TODAY BEFORE FALLING TO NEAR NORMAL SATURDAY.
OUTSIDE OF THUNDERSTORMS AND OUTFLOWS...WINDS WILL MOSTLY BE LIGHT
WITH THE EXCEPTION OF SOME OCCASIONAL AFTERNOON SOUTHWESTERLY
BREEZINESS. MINIMUM HUMIDITIES WILL INCREASE FROM AROUND 20 PERCENT
THIS AFTERNOON TO NEAR 30 PERCENT ON SATURDAY.

...THUNDERSTORMS IMPLY GUSTY WINDS...

NOTE...ADDITIONAL FIRE WEATHER FORECAST INFORMATION CAN BE FOUND IN
THE AREA FORECAST DISCUSSION. SEE PRODUCT PHXAFDPSR.
