...DISCUSSION FROM RNOFWFVEF...

A COLD FRONT WILL MOVE ACROSS THE AREA SATURDAY EVENING THROUGH
EARLY SUNDAY MORNING. THIS WILL RESULT IN GUSTY WEST TO SOUTHWEST
WINDS AHEAD OF THE FRONT ON SATURDAY AND GUSTY NORTH WINDS BEHIND
THE FRONT ON SUNDAY. OUTSIDE OF A FEW SNOW SHOWERS IN THE SOUTHERN
SIERRA NEVADA...MAINLY NEAR THE CREST...AND A FEW RAIN AND SNOW
SHOWERS IN FAR NORTHERN LINCOLN COUNTY THIS FRONT WILL PASS THE AREA
DRY. DRY CONDITIONS WITH NEAR SEASONABLE TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED
ACROSS THE AREA THROUGH THANKSGIVING DAY.

...DISCUSSION FROM LAXFWFSGX...

A WEAK TROUGH WILL BRING GUSTY WESTERLY WINDS SATURDAY AFTERNOON AND
EVENING IN THE MOUNTAINS AND DESERTS. THE WINDS WILL SHIFT NORTHEAST
SATURDAY NIGHT INTO SUNDAY MORNING WITH THE ONSET OF A SANTA ANA
WIND EVENT THAT WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THURSDAY. GUSTY OFFSHORE WINDS
IMPACT THE MOUNTAINS...FOOTHILLS AND INLAND VALLEYS BEGINNING SUNDAY
MORNING. MONDAY THROUGH THURSDAY WILL BE PROGRESSIVELY WARMER DAYS
WITH LOWER HUMIDITIES AND WEAK TO MODERATE SANTA ANA WINDS. RED FLAG
CONDITIONS ARE POSSIBLE NEXT WEEK AND WILL DEPEND ON THE STRENGTH OF
THE OFFSHORE WINDS. THIS WILL CONTINUE TO BE EVALUATED OVER THE
WEEKEND.

...DISCUSSION FROM PHXFWFPSR...

AN UPPER LOW MOVING ACROSS THE DESERT SOUTHWEST TODAY WILL BRING
CLOUDY SKIES TODAY...DECREASING FROM WEST TO EAST AS THE DAY
PROGRESSES. THERE WILL BE ONLY A SLIGHT CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND THAT
WILL BE LIMITED TO THE HIGHER TERRAIN. THERE IS AN OUTSIDE
POSSIBILITY OF A WEAK STRAY THUNDERSTORM AS WELL. IN ADDITION...HIGH
TEMPERATURES WILL BE AT LEAST A FEW DEGREES COOLER TODAY AND
HUMIDITIES WILL BE HIGHER. EXPECT MOSTLY CLEAR SKIES SATURDAY WITH
LITTLE CHANGE IN TEMPERATURES AND HUMIDITIES EXCEPT DRIER OVER
SOUTHEAST CALIFORNIA.
