...DISCUSSION FROM RNOFWFVEF...

DRY AND BREEZY CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED OVER MUCH OF THE FORECAST
AREA FOR THE NEXT 36 TO 48 HOURS. STRONGER NORTHERLY WINDS WILL
DEVELOP THIS MORNING AND LAST THROUGH SATURDAY, PARTICULARLY DOWN
THE COLORADO RIVER VALLEY, FOR WHICH A RED FLAG WARNING HAS BEEN
ISSUED. WHILE CRITICALLY DRY CONDITIONS WILL REMAIN INTO NEXT WEEK,
WIND WILL DECREASE TO WELL BENEATH RED FLAG THRESHOLDS BY SUNDAY.

...DISCUSSION FROM LAXFWFSGX...

ONSHORE NORTHWEST BREEZES ARE EXPECTED TODAY AND WILL TURN OFFSHORE
LATE TONIGHT. OFFSHORE WINDS WILL INCREASE SATURDAY MORNING AND WILL
BRING DRY INTERIOR AIR INTO THE NORTHERN INLAND EMPIRE AND ORANGE
COUNTY. ONSHORE FLOW WILL RETURN SUNDAY AND THE MARINE LAYER WILL
EVENTUALLY REDEVELOP NEXT WEEK TO BRING BACK HIGHER HUMIDITY TO THE
COASTS AND VALLEYS.

...DISCUSSION FROM PHXFWFPSR...

VERY DANGEROUS CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS WILL EXIST FRIDAY
FOR MOST DISTRICTS AS STRONG GUSTY WEST WINDS DEVELOP OVER THE AREA.
THIS WILL BE IN CONCERT WITH HUMIDITY LEVELS BELOW 15% BY LATE
AFTERNOON. IN ADDITION, SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE OVER
SOUTHERN GILA COUNTY WHERE WETTING RAIN COULD BE VERY LIMITED.
THEREFORE, A FEW LIGHTNING STRIKES COULD CONCEIVABLY INITIATE NEW
FIRE STARTS IF RAINFALL IS MINIMAL.
