.DISCUSSION...
FOR MARTHAS VINEYARD LIGHT NORTHWEST WINDS THIS MORNING WILL
BECOME SOUTH TO SOUTHWEST BETWEEN NOON AND 1 PM...WITH SPEEDS
GENERALLY 10 TO 15 MPH. THEN AFTER SUNSET SOUTH TO SOUTHWEST WINDS
WILL TURN TO THE WEST TO NORTHWEST WIND SPEEDS 10 MPH OR LESS.

AS FOR WEATHER CONDITIONS ON THE ISLAND...SCATTERED SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED THIS AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING WITH
THUNDERSTORMS MOST NUMEROUS AND STRONGEST OVER EASTERN
MASSACHUSETTS. THE MAIN THREAT IS HAIL ALTHOUGH SOME GUSTY WINDS
ARE ALSO POSSIBLE. MINIMUM RELATIVE HUMIDITY VALUES WILL RANGE
BETWEEN 45 AND 55 PERCENT.

IT WILL BE MAINLY DRY ON SATURDAY. THE MINIMUM RELATIVE HUMIDITY
WILL RANGE FROM 40 TO 55 PERCENT.

OUTLOOK...SUNDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...

SCATTERED STRONG THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE SUNDAY AS A WARM
FRONT MOVES THROUGH FOLLOWED BY A COLD FRONT WHICH SLOWLY
DISSIPATES OVER THE SOUTH COAST BY EARLY TUESDAY. THE NEXT MAIN
FEATURE WILL BE A POSSIBLE HEAT WAVE TUESDAY THROUGH THURSDAY.
THERE IS A SLIGHT CHANCE OF SHOWERS OVER THE INTERIOR TUESDAY.
OTHERWISE MAINLY SUNNY HOT AND INCREASINGLY HUMID WEATHER IS
FORECAST FROM TUESDAY THROUGH THURSDAY. A COLD FRONT COULD BRING
SOME THUNDERSTORMS THURSDAY NIGHT.
