...STRONG SOUTHEASTERLY LOW-LEVEL JET TONIGHT AND MONDAY NIGHT...
...COLD FRONT MONDAY MORNING...

.DISCUSSION...
Expect ridge-top winds at the fire site to increase tonight as a
a southeasterly low-level jet sets up. Winds will increase after
about 10 PM to 20 to 30 mph. In addition to the increased winds,
expect the relative humidity recoveries to be 35 to 40 percent. An
isolated shower or thunderstorm is possible through around
midnight. A cold front is expected to move through the fire site
tomorrow morning around 9 AM. This will shift winds to the
northwest at 15 to 25 on the ridge tops. With slightly lower
temperatures behind the front, relative humidity values will be
around 20 percent in the afternoon. More isolated afternoon and
evening thunderstorms are possible Monday. Also, a northeasterly
low-level jet will keep ridge top winds 15 to 20 mph overnight,
and keep recoveries less than 60 percent. Reimer
