THE SPOT FORECAST PERIOD AS A SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE SYSTEM OVER
LOUISIANA PUSHES TO THE EAST. WIND SPEEDS WILL INCREASE THIS AFTERNOON
AS PRESSURE GRADIENT BECOMES TIGHTER DUE TO A FRONTAL BOUNDARY OVER
WEST TEXAS PUSHING TO THE SOUTHEAST. EXPECT WINDS OUT OF THE SOUTHEAST
(150 DIRECTION) AROUND 8 TO 12 MPH GUSTING UP TO 16 MPH FOR THIS AFTERNOON.
WINDS WILL DECREASE LATE THIS AFTERNOON INTO THE EVENING TO 5 MPH OR LESS.
