.DISCUSSION...
A batch of thunderstorms near Walnut Springs continues to move
towards the east at around 15 to 20 MPH and will likely impact
northern portions of Lake Whitney between Morgan and Blum in the
next hour. The main hazards with this activity will be small hail,
gusty winds and lightning. Farther south towards the City Whitney
and Lake Whitney State Park, generally precipitation-free
conditions are expected for the next several hours. Morning
thunderstorms should slowly wane over the next 1-2 hours, which
may offer a window for safe SAR efforts.

Towards the mid-afternoon to early afternoon hours, however,
additional thunderstorms may re-develop. Hail, gusty winds and
lightning will be the main hazards with any activity today.

Boating conditions outside of thunderstorms, should be generally
favorable with east winds of 5 to 10 MPH with perhaps a light chop
on the water.
