.DISCUSSION...
Hot and dry today, a bit cooler and more moist tomorrow with a cold front
passing through the wildfire site around midnight tonight. Todays concerns
include a Haines of 6, hot temperatures, low RH and isolated dry
thunderstorms which will bring the threat of lightning and gusty/erratic winds
late day into the evening hours. Enhanced drainage out of the American Fork
Canyon could cause the fire to be a bit more whippy on the south end early
this morning.

Sky/weather.........Partly cloudy (25-35 percent cloud cover) then
                    becoming partly sunny (45-55 percent cloud
                    cover). A slight chance of dry thunderstorms in
                    the afternoon.

Max temperature.....97-99.
Min humidity........9-11%.
Wind (20 ft)........Through 0900, Downslope 2-5 mph, though winds
                    out of American Fork Canyon near 10 mph may gust
