FLOOD POTENTIAL IS CURRENTLY LOW FOR THE STATE.

...HYDROMETEOROLOGICAL DISCUSSION...

A PROGRESSIVE UPPER LEVEL PATTERN WILL PREVAIL THROUGH THE
WEEKEND... A RIDGE CURRENTLY OVER THE GULF WILL MOVE EASTWARD INTO
CANADA AS AN UPPER LEVEL TROUGH WITH MULTIPLE EMBEDDED LOWS MOVES
INTO THE GULF.

...SNOWPACK...

OVER THE PAST 7 DAYS THE SNOWPACK HAS GENERALLY INCREASED OVER THE
EASTERN MAINLAND AND NORTHERN SOUTHEAST... AND DECREASED OVER MOST
OF SOUTHCENTRAL AND OVER THE SEWARD PENINSULA REGION.

...ICE THICKNESS...

ICE THICKNESSES REPORTED AROUND APRIL 1 RANGED FROM 13 INCHES ON THE
TANANA RIVER IN FAIRBANKS TO 58 INCHES ON THE COLVILLE DELTA.

ICE THICKNESSES OF 13 TO 38 INCHES WERE REPORTED IN TANANA BASIN.

...LONG RANGE...

THE 6 TO 10 DAY TEMPERATURE OUTLOOK HAS INCREASED CHANCES OF ABOVE
NORMAL TEMPERATURES OVER THE FAR WESTERN... THE NORTHWESTERN... AND
THE NORTHERN MAINLAND.

THE 6 TO 10 DAY PRECIPITATION OUTLOOK HAS INCREASED CHANCES OF BELOW
NORMAL PRECIPITATION OVER THE FAR WESTERN MAINLAND... AND INCREASED
CHANCES OF ABOVE NORMAL PRECIPITATION OVER SOUTHEAST ALASKA.
