LOW PRESSURE PASSING BY TO THE SOUTH AND EAST MONDAY PRODUCED SEVERAL
HOURS OF LIGHT RAIN FROM SOUTHERN VIRGINIA TO SOUTHERN NEW JERSEY.
OBSERVED RAINFALL AMOUNTS WERE LESS THAN ONE QUARTER INCH.

THAT LOW IS NOW WELL EAST OF THE AREA. A COLD FRONT IN THE EASTERN
GREAT LAKES WILL APPROACH TODAY BRINGING SCATTERED SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING FROM CENTRAL NEW YORK AND
CENTRAL PENNSYLVANIA SOUTH INTO THE PANHANDLES OF MARYLAND AND WEST
VIRGINIA. RAINFALL AMOUNTS UP TO ONE HALF INCH CAN BE EXPECTED.

SHOWERS WILL LINGER WEDNESDAY ACROSS THE EASTERN BASINS AS THE UPPER
DISTURBANCE IS SLOW TO MOVE AWAY. RAINFALL AMOUNTS WILL BE LESS THAN
ONE QUARTER INCH.

DRY WEATHER WILL RETURN THURSDAY AS WEAK HIGH PRESSURE BUILDS IN.

ON AREA RIVERS AND CREEKS, GENERALLY MINOR CHANGES CAN BE EXPECTED
THROUGHOUT ALL THE BASINS INTO FRIDAY. MINOR RISES ARE POSSIBLE THROUGH
TONIGHT ON SMALLER CREEKS AND STREAMS IN PORTIONS OF THE SUSQUEHANNA AND
UPPER POTOMAC BASINS.

ALL DAILY RIVER FORECASTS HAVE BEEN ISSUED.
