THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTHERN CONNECTICUT...ALL OF
MASSACHUSETTS EXCEPT BERKSHIRE COUNTY...AND RHODE ISLAND.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY.

A SIGNIFICANT STORM MAY IMPACT THE REGION SUNDAY NIGHT INTO
TUESDAY WITH SOME HEAVY PRECIPITATION. THE BIGGEST UNCERTAINTY
REMAINS PRECIPITATION TYPES. THE HIGHEST RISK FOR A SIGNIFICANT
AMOUNT OF SNOW AND/OR ICE WILL BE NORTH OF THE MASSACHUSETTS
TURNPIKE AND INLAND FROM THE COAST. FURTHER SOUTHEAST ALONG THE
BOSTON TO PROVIDENCE CORRIDOR...RAIN LIKELY DOMINATES BUT A PERIOD
OF SLEET AND PERHAPS SNOW IS POSSIBLE AT THE ONSET.

IN ADDITION...A PERIOD OF STRONG TO PERHAPS DAMAGING WINDS ARE
EXPECTED ALONG THE BOSTON TO PROVIDENCE CORRIDOR POINTS SOUTH AND
EAST SOMETIME MONDAY AFTERNOON INTO MONDAY NIGHT. EASTERLY WIND
GUSTS OF 45 TO 55 MPH ARE LIKELY WITH EVEN A LOW RISK FOR A FEW
GUSTS UP TO 60 MPH.

LASTLY...DESPITE LOW ASTRONOMICAL TIDES THE POTENTIAL EXISTS FOR A
MINOR TO LOW-END MODERATE COASTAL FLOOD EVENT ALONG THE EASTERN
MASSACHUSETTS COAST AT THE TIME OF HIGH TIDE TUESDAY MORNING.

THERE IS A MODERATE RISK FOR EASTERLY GALES UP TO 45 KNOTS ACROSS
THE WATERS MONDAY AFTERNOON INTO MONDAY NIGHT. THERE IS A LOW RISK
OF STORM FORCE EAST WINDS UP TO 50 KNOTS. IN ADDITION...SEAS MAY
BUILD TO 20+ FEET ACROSS OUR EASTERN OUTER- WATERS.
