THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL
MONTANA...SOUTH CENTRAL MONTANA...SOUTHEAST MONTANA AND NORTH
CENTRAL WYOMING.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

A COOL AND WET WEATHER PATTERN WILL BE OVER THE AREA TODAY.
RAINFALL WILL BE WIDESPREAD AND IS EXPECTED TO BECOME HEAVY AT
TIMES LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT. THOSE IN AREAS THAT ARE
EASILY SUSCEPTIBLE TO MINOR FLOODING FROM ELEVATED STREAMS OR
THOSE THAT LIVE IN BURN SCAR AREAS SHOULD MONITOR THE WEATHER.

THERE IS ALSO A CHANCE OF STRONG TO SEVERE WIND GUSTS WITH
THUNDERSTORMS EARLY THIS EVENING ACROSS SHERIDAN COUNTY
WYOMING...AS WELL AS POWDER RIVER AND CARTER COUNTIES IN MONTANA.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

A COOL AND WET WEATHER PATTERN WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE WEEKEND
WITH WIDESPREAD RAINFALL. THE RAIN IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN TAPERING
OFF BY SUNDAY NIGHT. LOCALIZED AREAS OF HEAVIER RAINFALL ARE
POSSIBLE. PEOPLE WHO LIVE NEAR STREAMS OR NEAR BURN SCARS SHOULD
CONTINUE TO MONITOR THE WEATHER CLOSELY FOR POSSIBLE SMALL STREAM
FLOODING.

TRAVELERS ON THE BEARTOOTH PASS AND THOSE WITH RECREATION PLANS
IN THE HIGH COUNTRY SHOULD NOTE THAT A COUPLE INCHES OF SLUSHY
SNOW ARE POSSIBLE BOTH SATURDAY MORNING AND SUNDAY MORNING. SNOW
ACCUMULATIONS WOULD LIKELY BE LIMITED TO ELEVATIONS AROUND 10000
FEET OR ABOVE.
