This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska...
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...

A Winter Storm Warning is in effect starting late tonight for the
entire Tri State Region. Mixed wintry precipitation is possible
overnight before transitioning to all snow by Sunday morning. Some
of this precipitation will fall as light freezing rain.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY...

A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect through Sunday night for
the entire area. The region can expect moderate to heavy snow at
times. Strong northerly winds...gusting up to 50 mph...will create
blizzard-like conditions from Sunday afternoon onward. Travel
impacts are likely for this event on all area roadways.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not needed at this time...but as snowfall
accrues going into Sunday and Sunday night...snowfall reports from
around the area will be greatly appreciated..
