THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR THE FLORIDA KEYS AND ADJACENT
COASTAL WATERS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

ISOLATED TO SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT THE FLORIDA KEYS...
AS WELL AS NEARSHORE AND OFFSHORE WATERS SURROUNDING THE ISLAND
CHAIN. THE PRIMARY THUNDERSTORM HAZARD IS CLOUD TO SURFACE LIGHTNING
STRIKES.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE ALONG THE FLORIDA KEYS...AS
WELL AS OVER NEARSHORE AND OFFSHORE WATERS ADJACENT TO THE ISLAND
CHAIN TUESDAY THROUGH FRIDAY NIGHT. THE PRIMARY THUNDERSTORM HAZARD
WILL BE CLOUD TO SURFACE LIGHTNING STRIKES.

A SLOWLY STRENGTHENING AREA OF LOW PRESSURE OVER THE SOUTHWESTERN
BAY OF CAMPECHE COULD PASS THROUGH THE FLORIDA STRAITS LATE THIS
WEEK. THIS AREA OF LOW PRESSURE MAY DELIVER SEVERAL INCHES OF RAIN
TO THE FLORIDA KEYS THURSDAY THROUGH FRIDAY. HEAVY RAINFALL THURSDAY
THROUGH FRIDAY COULD CAUSE SIGNIFICANT PONDING OF WATER AND STREET
FLOODING IN POOR DRAINAGE AREAS AND LOW LYING SPOTS.

A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY MAY BE REQUIRED FOR THE COASTAL WATERS OF THE
FLORIDA STRAITS THURSDAY. A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY WILL LIKELY BE
REQUIRED FOR THE COASTAL WATERS OF THE FLORIDA STRAITS THURSDAY
NIGHT THROUGH FRIDAY NIGHT. A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY MAY BE REQUIRED
FOR THE COASTAL WATERS OF THE GULF OF MEXICO...HAWK CHANNEL...AND
FLORIDA BAY THURSDAY NIGHT THROUGH FRIDAY NIGHT. A SMALL CRAFT
ADVISORY MAY BE REQUIRED FOR ALL KEYS COASTAL WATERS SATURDAY
THROUGH SUNDAY.
