This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Maryland portion of the
Chesapeake Bay, Tidal Potomac River, and adjacent counties in
central Maryland and northern Virginia as well as the District of
Columbia.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

A Gale Warning is in effect for the waters tonight.

A Wind Advisory is in effect for the outlook area with the
exception of King George, Spotsylvania, and Stafford Counties
starting at 4 AM late tonight. Winds may gust to 50 mph.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

A Gale Warning is in effect for the waters Sunday.

The Wind Advisory continues through 3 PM Sunday.

Spotters are asked to report hazardous weather using standard
operating procedures.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for eastern West Virginia,
northern and central Virginia, and central and western Maryland
with the exception of Garrett County.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

A Wind Advisory is in effect for northern Virginia, the Shenandoah
Valley, western Maryland and Eastern West Virginia through tonight.
Strong gusts may occur on the ridges above 2000 feet at any time,
while valley locations may see gusts to 50 mph late tonight.

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect starting at 4 AM late
tonight for western Grant and western Pendleton Counties in West
Virginia. Rain will change to snow late tonight in these areas.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

The Wind Advisory continues through 3 PM Sunday.

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect through 11 PM Sunday for
western Grant and western Pendleton Counties in West Virginia.
Total snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches are expected by Sunday
evening, with localized amounts up to 7 inches.
