  COASTAL WATERS OF SOUTHERN USVI...VIEQUES...AND EASTERN PUERTO RICO

AT 517 AM AST...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A THUNDERSTORM...CAPABLE OF
PRODUCING WINDS TO AROUND 30 KNOTS AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING. THIS
THUNDERSTORM WAS LOCATED EAST OF ST THOMAS/ST JOHN...MOVING
NORTHWESTWARD AT AROUND 10 KNOTS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

MARINERS CAN EXPECT GUSTY WINDS TO AROUND 30 KNOTS...LOCALLY HIGHER
WAVES...AND LIGHTNING STRIKES. BOATERS SHOULD SEEK SAFE HARBOR
IMMEDIATELY UNTIL THIS STORM PASSES.

LIGHTNING IS OCCURRING WITH THIS STORM. IF CAUGHT ON THE OPEN WATER
