URGENT - MARINE WEATHER MESSAGE

...GALE FORCE WINDS ARRIVING SUNDAY MORNING...
...DENSE FOG TO IMPACT THE COASTAL WATERS THIS MORNING...

.DENSE MARINE FOG HAS FORMED AND WILL LIKELY PERSIST THROUGH MUCH
OF THE MORNING IMPACTING THE LAGUNA MADRE AND THE NEAR SHORE
WATERS. A STRONG WINTER COLD FRONT WILL RACE ACROSS THE
NORTHWESTERN GULF EARLY SUNDAY MORNING. VERY STRONG OFFSHORE FLOW
WILL DEVELOP AFTER PASSAGE, WITH SUSTAINED WINDS REACHING 30
KNOTS, WHILE FREQUENT GUSTS APPROACHING 40 KNOTS ARE POSSIBLE.
SEAS WILL RESPOND, INCREASING ABOVE 11 FEET SUNDAY AFTERNOON.
IMPROVING CONDITIONS WILL NOT ARRIVE UNTIL AFTER MIDNIGHT SUNDAY

FOG ADVISORY, WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM CST THIS MORNING.

* WINDS...NORTHWEST WINDS 30 KNOTS WITH FREQUENT GUSTS NEAR 40
KNOTS.

* WAVES/SEAS...SEAS WILL REACH 10 TO 13 FEET ACROSS THE GULF
  WATERS.

* VISIBILITY...1/4 MILE OR LESS AT TIMES.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A GALE WATCH IS ISSUED WHEN THE RISK OF GALE FORCE WINDS OF 34 TO
47 KNOTS HAS SIGNIFICANTLY INCREASED...BUT THE SPECIFIC TIMING
AND/OR LOCATION IS STILL UNCERTAIN. IT IS INTENDED TO PROVIDE
ADDITIONAL LEAD TIME FOR MARINERS WHO MAY WISH TO CONSIDER
ALTERING THEIR PLANS.

A DENSE FOG ADVISORY MEANS VISIBILITIES WILL FREQUENTLY BE
REDUCED TO LESS THAN ONE MILE. INEXPERIENCED MARINERS...
ESPECIALLY THOSE OPERATING SMALLER VESSELS SHOULD AVOID
NAVIGATING IN THESE CONDITIONS.
