...GALE FORCE CONDITIONS TO BEGIN LATE TONIGHT NIGHT...

.A STRONG ARCTIC COLD FRONT WILL BLAST THROUGH THE LOWER TEXAS
COASTAL WATERS LATE NIGHT. STRONG WINDS AND ROUGH SEAS WILL
CREATE ADVERSE MARINE CONDITIONS TONIGHT AND THROUGH THE WEEKEND.
AHEAD OF THIS FRONT AREAS OF DENSE MARINE FOG WILL AFFECT THE
LAGUNA MADRE AND THE LOWER TEXAS GULF WATERS OUT TO 20 NAUTICAL
MILES OFFSHORE THROUGH MIDDAY TODAY.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BROWNSVILLE HAS ISSUED A GALE
WARNING...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 6 PM CST
THURSDAY. A DENSE FOG ADVISORY HAS ALSO BEEN ISSUED. THIS DENSE
FOG ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON CST TODAY. THE GALE WATCH IS
NO LONGER IN EFFECT.

* WINDS...NORTH 28 TO 33 KNOTS GUSTING TO 40 KNOTS.

* WAVES/SEAS...9 TO 12 FEET WITH OCCASIONAL SEAS UP TO 15 FEET.

* VISIBILITY...AREAS OF DENSE MARINE FOG WILL REDUCE THE
  VISIBILITIES DOWN TO A QUARTER OF A MILE IN MANY AREAS THROUGH
  MIDDAY TODAY.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A GALE WARNING MEANS WINDS OF 34 TO 47 KNOTS ARE OCCURRING...OR
FORECAST TO OCCUR WITHIN THE NEXT 24 TO 36 HOURS. OPERATING A
VESSEL IN GALE CONDITIONS REQUIRES EXPERIENCE AND PROPERLY
EQUIPPED VESSELS. IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THAT MARINERS WITHOUT
THE PROPER EXPERIENCE SEEK SAFE HARBOR PRIOR TO THE ONSET OF GALE
CONDITIONS.
