...Scattered Showers and Storms...

Scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue this afternoon
inland from Treasure Coast. Movement was to the southeast at 20 mph.

A few thunderstorms could become strong and produce heavy
downpours...frequent cloud-to-ground lightning strikes...and gusty
winds up to 50 mph as they push inland.

A high risk of rip currents is expected with a residual east
swell and building surf this afternoon. Only swim within sight of a
lifeguard. Ask the beach patrol about ocean hazards when you arrive
at the beach.
