.NOW...

AT 1130 AM...THE EAST COAST SEA BREEZE IS DEVELOPING ALONG THE COAST
AND HIGH RESOLUTION VISIBLE SATELLITE IMAGERY SHOWS CONGESTED
CUMULUS CLOUDS DEVELOPING ESPECIALLY SOUTH OF ORLANDO. SCATTERED
SHOWERS AND ISOLATED LIGHTNING STORMS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP AS THE
SEA BREEZE PUSHES INLAND ACROSS MARTIN...SAINT LUCIE...INDIAN RIVER
AND SOUTH BREVARD EARLY THIS AFTERNOON WHERE AVAILABLE MOISTURE IS
HIGHER. ISOLATED SHOWERS AND POSSIBLY A THUNDERSTORM SHOULD ALSO
DEVELOP OVER PORTIONS OF LAKE AND VOLUSIA COUNTIES. A LATE DAY SEA
BREEZE COLLISION OVER THE INTERIOR SHOULD PRODUCE SCATTERED
LIGHTNING STORMS OVER PORTIONS OF ORANGE...OSCEOLA AND OKEECHOBEE
COUNTIES.

THE PRIMARY THREATS FROM STORMS TODAY WILL BE FREQUENT LIGHTNING
STRIKES...LOCALLY HEAVY DOWNPOURS...AND GUSTY WINDS.

OCEAN SWELLS IMPACTING THE COAST WILL BRING A MODERATE THREAT FOR
STRONG RIP CURRENTS AT ATLANTIC COAST BEACHES. MAKE SURE TO SWIM
NEAR A LIFEGUARD AND NEVER SWIM ALONE.
