URGENT - WEATHER MESSAGE
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE LA CROSSE WI
803 AM CST SAT JAN 21 2017

...AREAS OF DENSE FOG CONTINUE THIS MORNING...TRAVEL IMPACTED...

.A BAND OF RAIN LIFTING WAS LIFTING INTO WEST-CENTRAL AND NORTH-
CENTRAL WISCONSIN EARLY THIS MORNING. AS IT MOVED ACROSS
SOUTHEAST MINNESOTA AND WESTERN INTO CENTRAL WISCONSIN IT RAISED
VISIBILITIES TO 3/4 TO 3 MILES AT MANLY LOCATIONS. WHERE THE RAIN
HAS CLEAR OUT OF NORTHEAST IOWA AND SOUTHWEST WISCONSIN...
VISIBILITIES IN THE FOG WERE BACK DOWN INTO THE 1/4 TO 3/4 MILE
RANGE.

DUE TO THE LIGHT RAIN AND SOME DRIZZLE A FEW SLIPPERY SPOTS ARE
POSSIBLE WHERE ROAD SURFACES REMAIN COLD...ESPECIALLY UNTREATED
ROADS ON COLDER NORTH-FACING HILLSIDES.

AREAS OF DENSE FOG WILL CONTINUE THROUGH MUCH OF THIS MORNING...
ESPECIALLY ACROSS HIGHER TERRAIN AREAS AND ON THE RIDGE TOPS. THE
LIMITED VISIBILITIES DUE TO THE FOG WILL RESULT IN POTENTIALLY
HAZARDOUS TRAVEL.
