...Widespread Dense Fog This Morning...

.A damp air mass was producing widespread dense fog with
visibilities of 1/4 mile or less across portions of southeast
Minnesota and northeast Iowa. In addition, this fog may freeze on
contact with untreated roadways, especially on bridges and
overpasses, producing slippery spots or stretches.

...DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON CST TODAY...

The National Weather Service in La Crosse has issued a Dense Fog
Advisory, which is in effect until noon CST today.

* VISIBILITY...Watch out for poor visibilities of 1/4 mile or less
  through this morning.

* IMPACTS...Limited visibility in this dense fog will make travel
  difficult. In addition, this fog may freeze on contact with
  untreated roadways, especially on bridges and overpasses,
  producing slippery spots or stretches.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving...slow down...
use your headlights...and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
