...DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM EST /10 AM CST/
FRIDAY...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MARQUETTE HAS ISSUED A DENSE FOG
ADVISORY, WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM EST /10 AM CST/ FRIDAY.

HAZARDOUS WEATHER:

 * WIDESPREAD DENSE FOG REDUCING VISIBILITY TO ONE-QUARTER MILE OR
   LESS WILL CONTINUE THROUGH LATE FRIDAY MORNING BEFORE THE FOG
   STARTS TO LIFT AND VISIBILITIES IMPROVE.

 * TEMPERATURES WILL BE BELOW FREEZING WHICH WILL ALLOW THE FOG
   TO FREEZE ON UNTREATED SURFACES.

IMPACTS:

 * TRAVEL WILL BE HAZARDOUS DUE TO VERY LOW VISIBILITY AT TIMES.

 * FOG MAY FREEZE ON UNTREATED SURFACES WHICH MAY LEAD TO SLIPPERY
   TRAVEL.

 * WHEN ENCOUNTERING DENSE FOG...REMEMBER TO USE LOW-BEAM
   HEADLIGHTS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS:

 * A DENSE FOG ADVISORY MEANS VISIBILITIES WILL FREQUENTLY BE
REDUCED TO LESS THAN ONE QUARTER MILE.
