TUESDAY...

Hazardous Weather:

 * North winds will increase late tonight, with the strongest
   gusts of 55 to 65 mph along the north facing shorelines
   Tuesday morning and early afternoon. Elsewhere, the strongest
   winds will be 45 to 55 mph. Winds will gradually diminish
   Tuesday afternoon and evening.

Impacts:

 * Downed trees and powerlines are expected, likely resulting in
   numerous power outages. Power may be out in some areas for an
   extended period of time.

 * High profile vehicles will be very difficult to drive.

Precautionary/Preparedness Actions:

 * A High Wind Warning means a hazardous high wind event is
   expected or occurring. Sustained wind speeds of at least 40
   mph or gusts of 58 mph or more can lead to property damage.

   strongest gusts of 50 to 60 mph along shoreline areas
   northeast of L`Anse and over the higher terrain of eastern
   Baraga County Tuesday morning. Elsewhere, the strongest gusts
   will be 40 to 50 mph. Winds will gradually diminish Tuesday
   afternoon and early evening.

Impacts:

 * Downed trees and powerlines are expected, likely resulting in
   numerous power outages.

 * High profile vehicles will be very difficult to drive.
