...High winds expected across parts of Fremont, Natrona, Hot
Springs, and Johnson Counties through this evening...

.A tight surface pressure and strong winds aloft mixing down will
result in strong to potentially damaging wind at times through
this evening across portions of central and northern Wyoming.

...HIGH WIND WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 5 AM EARLY THIS MORNING TO
11 PM MST THIS EVENING...

The National Weather Service in Riverton has issued a High Wind
Warning, which is in effect from 5 AM early this morning to 11 PM
MST this evening.

* TIMING...High winds are expected to develop this morning, and
  continue through the evening hours.

* WINDS...West to southwest 20 to 40 mph with some gusts to 65
  mph. Gusts to 75 mph could occur on the eastern slopes of the
  Bighorn Mountains.

* IMPACTS...Strong cross winds will produce an extreme blow over
  hazard for light weight and high profile vehicles. This includes
  Interstates 25 and 90.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A High Wind Warning means a hazardous high wind event is expected
or occurring.

...HIGH WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM MST THIS
EVENING...

* TIMING...Strong to potentially damage wind through this evening.

* WINDS...Southwest 35 to 45 mph gusting to 65 mph. Locally higher
  wind gusts to 75 mph on Outer Drive on the south side of Casper,
  and in the Green mountains and Rattlesnake Range. A wind gust of
  66 mph was measured on Outer Drive at 130 AM.

* IMPACTS...Mainly to transportation. Extreme blow over risk for
  light and high profile vehicles, including along Interstate 25.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A High Wind Warning means a hazardous high wind event is expected
or occurring. Sustained wind speeds of at least 40 mph or gusts
of 58 mph or more can lead to property damage.

  light and high profile vehicles, including along Interstate 25.
