New England continental shelf and slope waters from 25 nm
offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...Hurricane Jose was located
near 36.0N 71.3W at 5 AM EDT early this morning, moving N or
360 degrees at 08 kt. Jose will move to near 37.1N 71.1W at 2 PM
this afternoon, and move to 38.5N 70.1W by 2 AM tonight as a
tropical storm. Jose will then move to near 39.6N 68.7W by 2 PM
Wed, move to near 40.0N 67.2W by 2 AM Wed night, move to near
39.3N 66.4W by 2 AM Thu night as a post-tropical low, move to
near 38.7N 66.6W by 2 AM Fri night, and then move to near 38.5N
67.0W by 2 AM Sat night. S to SE swell from Jose will impact the
waters today into Wed night. Refer to the latest National
Hurricane Center advisory on Hurricane Jose. Otherwise, a weak
high pres ridge over the N waters will shift NE of the area today
while a stationary front weakens over the S waters. Another ridge
will build SE towards the region Tue night through Sat night.
