New England continental shelf and slope waters from 25 nm
offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS... A cold front will approach
the coast tonight and cross the waters Wed into Wed night as
developing low pres moves NE to near Georges Bank by early Wed
night. The low will pass well E and NE of Georges Bank late Wed
night and Thu as high pres builds E across the waters. The high
will weaken later Thu and Thu night as a weak cold front
approaches the coast from the NW. The front will move E across
the waters Fri before weak high pres moves E over the area Fri
night. A strong cold front will move E across the waters late Sat
and Sat night. Developing low pres will pass SE of the waters Sat
night and Sun, and intensify near the Canadian Maritimes Sun
night.

Gulf of Maine to the Hague Line

.TONIGHT...SW winds 20 to 30 kt. Seas 6 to 11 ft. Scattered
showers.
.WED...S winds 15 to 25 kt, shifting to NW late. Seas subsiding
to 5 to 8 ft. Rain and patchy fog with VSBY 1 nm or less. Slight
chance of TSTMs.
.WED NIGHT...NW winds 20 to 30 kt. Seas 5 to 9 ft, building to
9 to 14 ft. Scattered showers and a chance of TSTMs early.
.THU...NW winds 15 to 25 kt, becoming W 5 to 15 kt. Seas
subsiding to 6 to 9 ft.
.THU NIGHT...W winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 4 to 7 ft.
.FRI...W to NW winds 10 to 15 kt, becoming NW. Seas 3 to 6 ft.
.FRI NIGHT...Winds becoming S 5 to 15 kt, then becoming S to SW
