...Thursday Dec 9th 2016 Snow and Freezing Rain Totals...

Cold air spread into northwest Oregon and southwest Washington on
Monday December 5th. A weak warm front draped west to east across
the eastern Pacific slowly began to shift northward late Wednesday
night. Snow, sleet and freezing rain spread northward across
northwest Oregon and southwest Washington Thursday morning reaching
Portland and the Kelso/Longview area around lunchtime. Enough
easterly flow existed that light freezing rain was noted near
Tillamook, and light snow fell along the coast around Astoria and
much of Willapa Bay. Snow totals were generally short of
expectations in northwest Oregon, but the snow intensity, the
freezing rain and below freezing temperatures that followed created
a lot of hazardous travel conditions across much of northwest Oregon
and southwest Washington on Thursday.

Will update this later tonight or Fri morning as more reports arrive.
