DISCUSSION: A MOIST WEST TO NORTHWEST FLOW PATTERN WILL CONTINUE TO
BRING PERIODS OF LIGHT RAIN AND DRIZZLE TO THE REGION THROUGH SUNDAY
MORNING...MAINLY NORTH OF POINT CONCEPTION. HIGHEST RAINFALL AMOUNTS
IN SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY WILL BE FOCUSED ACROSS THE NORTHERN
COASTAL AREAS AS WELL AS FOOTHILL LOCATIONS WHICH COULD SEE AN
ADDITIONAL 0.25 INCH THROUGH SUNDAY MORNING. OTHERWISE...0.05 TO
0.15 INCH CAN BE EXPECTED FOR SAN LUIS OBISPO AND SANTA BARBARA
COUNTIES AS WELL AS THE NORTH MOUNTAIN SLOPES OF VENTURA AND LOS
ANGELES COUNTIES. ELSEWHERE OVER VENTURA AND LOS ANGELES
COUNTIES...AROUND 0.05 INCH OR LESS CAN BE EXPECTED.

THERE IS ANOTHER CHANCE FOR RAIN BY TUESDAY, MAINLY NORTH OF POINT
CONCPETION. THERE IS THE POTENTIAL FOR A STRONGER...MORE WIDESPREAD
AND SIGNIFICANT RAIN EVENT LATER NEXT WEEK...MOST LIKELY THURSDAY
INTO THURSDAY NIGHT. A COLD AND UNSETTLED PATTERN COULD LINGER
FRIDAY AND FRIDAY NIGHT MAINTAINING A THREAT OF RAIN SHOWERS AND
MOUNTAIN SNOW SHOWERS.
