DISCUSSION AREA FROM 25N140E TO BEYOND 130E AT 23N. LOW CLOUDS AND
PATCHY RAIN ARE SEEN ALONG AND NORTHWEST OF THE FRONT TO BEYOND 25N.

A SURFACE TROUGH EXTENDS NORTHEASTWARD FROM NEAR GUAM AT 11N145E TO
BEYOND 25N AT 148E. SCATTERED SHOWERS AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS ARE
FOUND NEAR AND EAST OF THE TROUGH AXIS...OVER MINAMI TORI SHIMA
NORTH OF A LINE FROM 23N145E TO 21N161E.

A SHEAR LINE REACHES WEST-SOUTHWESTWARD FROM SOUTH OF MIDWAY THROUGH
21N180 PASSING ACROSS WAKE ISLAND AT 19N167E TO END NEAR 18N160E.
CLOUDINESS AND PATCHY SHOWERS ARE PRESENT ALONG AND UP TO 180 MILES
NORTHWEST OF THE SHEAR LINE.

A NEAR-EQUATORIAL TROUGH STRETCHES EAST-SOUTHEASTWARD FROM SOUTH OF
MINDANAO THROUGH 3N130E TO END AT A TROPICAL DISTURBANCE CENTERED
NEAR TARAWA ATOLL AT EQ171E. SCATTERED SHOWERS AND A FEW
THUNDERSTORMS ARE OCCURRING NEAR THE TROUGH SOUTHWEST OF CHUUK
WITHIN 160 MILES OF A LINE FROM 5N146E TO EQ152E...AND ALSO OVER
KOSRAE WITHIN 110 MILES OF A LINE FROM 5N164E TO 1N166E. SURFACE
CONVERGENCE NORTH AND NORTHEAST OF THE DISTURBANCE IS TRIGGERING
WIDELY SCATTERED SHOWERS OVER THE SOUTHERN MARSHALL ISLANDS BETWEEN
