...A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST...
SOUTHEASTERN ASCENSION...NORTHEASTERN ST. JAMES...NORTHWESTERN ST.
CHARLES...SOUTHWESTERN ST. TAMMANY...SOUTHEASTERN LIVINGSTON AND
SOUTHEASTERN TANGIPAHOA PARISHES...

At 955 PM CDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from near Robert to 6 miles southeast of
Ponchatoula to 6 miles northwest of Lutcher. Movement was southeast
at 30 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail are possible with these
storms.

These storms will be near...
  Robert around 1000 PM CDT.
  Covington, Laplace, Reserve, Madisonville, Edgard and Garyville
  around 1020 PM CDT.
  Hahnville, Killona, Montz, Taft, Norco and Lacombe around 1030 PM
  CDT.

Remember, lightning can strike out to 10 miles from the parent
thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be
struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter now!
