...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR CENTRAL LOGAN COUNTY UNTIL 700 PM
CDT...

At 626 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Ratcliff, or 7 miles north of Booneville, moving east at 10 mph.

Small hail from pea up to half inch and winds in excess of 40 mph
will be possible with this storm. Heavy rain will also be seen with
the storm and localized flooding of low lying areas and ponding of
water on roadways will be possible.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Very heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
