...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR CALLAHAN...SOUTHEASTERN JONES...
SOUTHWESTERN SHACKELFORD AND TAYLOR COUNTIES UNTIL 800 AM CDT...

At 701 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Baird, moving east at 35 mph.

Nickel size hail and wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with
this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Abilene, Clyde, Baird, Tye, Cross Plains, Tuscola, Buffalo Gap,
Putnam, Atwell, Dudley, Eula, Potosi, View, Hamby, Dyess AFB, Oplin,
Impact, Lake Abilene, Camp Tonkawa and Us-283 Near The Callahan-
Shackelford County Line.

This includes Interstate 20 between Mile Markers 274 and 323.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
