.SYNOPSIS...Dangerous, pounding surf along west facing reefs;
hazardous surf along south and north facing reefs; and a high risk of
rip currents will continue into early next week. Tropical Depression
27W, located southeast of the Marianas will slowly move toward the
area the next couple of days.

.TODAY...
Coastal Winds............Northeast at 10 to 15 mph.
Surf along North facing reefs............6 to 9 feet.
Surf along East  facing reefs............4 to 6 feet.
Surf along South facing reefs............6 to 9 feet.
Surf along West  facing reefs............13 to 16 feet.
Primary swell...............West at 9 to 13 feet.
Primary period..............15 seconds.
Secondary swell...............East at around 4 feet.
Secondary period..............10 seconds.

Rip current risk.....High. Pounding surf will produce dangerous rip
                     currents at reefs and beaches. Stay out of the
                     water.

Sea surface temperature at Ritidian buoy...85 Degrees.
Maximum afternoon heat index...........Around 102.

.OUTLOOK...Surf will increase along north facing reefs the next few
days as west swell shifts to northwest. The approach of Tropical
Depression 27W to the southeast will cause surf to increase along
east and south facing reefs beginning tonight.
