THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CARIBOU MAINE HAS ISSUED A

* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR...
  CENTRAL PENOBSCOT COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL MAINE...
  NORTHEASTERN HANCOCK COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST MAINE...
  WEST CENTRAL WASHINGTON COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST MAINE...

* UNTIL 645 PM EDT

* AT 552 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
  LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING DAMAGING WINDS IN
  EXCESS OF 60 MPH.  THESE STORMS WERE LOCATED ALONG A LINE EXTENDING
  FROM 25 MILES WEST OF GRAND LAKE STREAM TO 41 MILES WEST OF GRAND
  LAKE STREAM...OR ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM 15 MILES SOUTHEAST OF
  LINCOLN TO 7 MILES NORTHEAST OF OLD TOWN...AND MOVING SOUTHEAST AT
  15 MPH.

* OTHER LOCATIONS IN THE WARNING INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
  GREENFIELD AND GREAT POND..
