The National Weather Service in Portland has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northwestern Clatsop County in northwestern Oregon...

* Until 700 AM PST.

* At 630 AM PST, a severe thunderstorm was located near Cannon Beach,
  moving northeast at 40 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Astoria, Seaside, Warrenton, Cannon Beach, Hammond Town, Gearhart,
  Svenson, Hammond, Olney and Knappton.

In Washington this includes U. S. Highway 101 between mile markers 1
and 2.

This includes the following highways in Oregon...
 U.S. Highway 26 west of Portland between mile markers 1 and 3.
 U.S. Highway 30 west of Portland between mile markers 85 and 99.
 U.S. Highway 101 between mile markers 1 and 33.
