NORTHEASTERN MAGOFFIN COUNTIES IS CANCELLED...

The storms which prompted the warning have moved out of the warned
area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 945 PM EDT
FOR CENTRAL JOHNSON COUNTY...

At 937 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Winifred to near River to Bobbs to near Leander,
moving northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Paintsville, Tutor Key, Fitz, Oil Springs, Galen, Thelma, Dobson,
Hargis, Meally, Thealka, Collista, West Van Lear, Williamsport,
River, Nippa, Offutt, Denver, Buffalo, Swamp Branch and Hagerhill.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature`s leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
