WEATHER RADIO SYNOPSIS

850 AM CDT THU OCT 30 2014

A WEAK AREA OF HIGH PRESSURE OVER ARKANSAS WILL PROVIDE PARTLY
CLOUDY AND MILD WEATHER TODAY. A QUICK COLD FRONT WILL DIVE
THROUGH CENTRAL TEXAS TONIGHT AND CROSS THE METRO CITIES OF
AUSTIN AROUND MIDNIGHT AND SAN ANTONIO BY EARLY FRIDAY MORNING.
THERE WILL BE WIDELY SCATTERED, LIGHT, SHOWERS POSSIBLE WITH
THIS SYSTEM. THEN MUCH COLDER, DRIER AND WINDY WEATHER IS EXPECTED
DURING THE FRIDAY AFTERNOON AND FRIDAY EVENING. THE TEMPERATURES
WILL BOTTOM OUT IN THE LOW TO MIDDLE 40S WITH 30S IN THE HILL
COUNTRY FOR SATURDAY MORNING. THE HIGHS TEMPERATURES ON SATURDAY
MAY NOT EVEN REACH THE 70S AT MANY COMMUNITIES. THE WEATHER WILL
BECOME WARMER FOR SUNDAY AND MONDAY AS HIGH PRESSURE DRIFTS TO THE
EAST OF TEXAS. BEGINNING LATE MONDAY AND THROUGH EARLY THURSDAY
MORNING, THE COMBINATION OF PACIFIC MOISTURE, TROPICAL DEPRESSION
FORMS WELL SOUTH OF MEXICO AND ANOTHER COLD FRONT BY THE MIDDLE
OF NEXT WEEK, WILL PRODUCE COPIOUS AMOUNTS OF RAINFALL ACROSS
THE MUCH OF THE STATE.
