For the central North Pacific...between 140W and 180:

Showers and thunderstorms continues to gel in an area of low
pressure located about 1200 miles east-southeast of the Big Island.
This system is expected to remain nearly stationary for the next
day or two with conditions becoming even more favorable for
tropical cyclone development. Please refer to National Hurricane
Center`s tropical weather outlook for more details.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...high...80 percent

Elsewhere, no tropical cyclones are expected through wednesday
morning.
