...MODERATE TO BRIEF HEAVY SNOWS WILL OCCUR OVER THE SACRAMENTO
MOUNTAINS OF SOUTHERN NEW MEXICO THIS MORNING...

.AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE AND A COLD FRONT HAVE MOVED INTO
SOUTHERN NEW MEXICO AND BROUGHT AREAS OF MODERATE TO BRIEF HEAVY
SNOWS TO THE HIGHER MOUNTAIN AREAS OVERNIGHT. SNOW WILL CONTINUE
THROUGH THE MORNING HOURS TODAY. 1 TO 3 INCHES OF SNOW FELL
OVERNIGHT AND AN ADDITIONAL 2-3 INCHES IS LIKELY THROUGH THE
MORNING HOURS. HAZARDOUS DRIVING CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED DUE TO
ICY ROADS AND LOW VISIBILITIES. SNOW SHOULD END BY EARLY
AFTERNOON.

TODAY...

* EVENT: PERIODS OF MODERATE TO BRIEF HEAVY SNOWS WITH 3 TO 5
  INCH ACCUMULATIONS ABOVE 7000 FEET WITH 1 TO 3 INCHES LOWER
  ELEVATIONS.

* TIMING: SNOW WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE MORNING HOURS. MOST OF
  THE SNOW WILL END BY NOON TODAY.

* IMPACT: DANGEROUS DRIVING CONDITIONS FROM SNOW AND BLOWING
  SNOW WITH VISIBILITIES OCCASIONALLY UNDER A MILE. ICY SLIPPERY
  ROADS WILL ALSO EXIST.

* WINDS: WIND SPEEDS WILL BE AROUND 20 TO 30 MPH CAUSING AREAS
  OF BLOWING SNOW.

* SNOW LEVELS: SIGNIFICANT SNOW LEVELS SHOULD REMAIN ABOVE 6000
  FEET.
