...SIGNIFICANT ICE ACCUMULATIONS POSSIBLE FROM FREEZING RAIN AND
SLEET MONDAY NIGHT THROUGH TUESDAY NIGHT...

.A DEEP FETCH OF SUBTROPICAL MOISTURE NOSES INTO THE REGION
STARTING TONIGHT AND LINGERS THROUGH MIDWEEK. THIS WARM, MOIST
CONVEYOR BELT WILL OVERRUN A VERY COLD AIR MASS CURRENTLY IN PLACE
BRINGING THE POTENTIAL FOR SEVERAL HOURS OF FREEZING RAIN, SLEET,
AND HIGH MOUNTAIN SNOW. SIGNIFICANT ICE ACCUMULATIONS WILL BE
POSSIBLE WITHIN THE CASCADE VALLEYS, WESTERN COLUMBIA BASIN, AND
NORTHERN MOUNTAIN VALLEYS.

* LOCATIONS...REPUBLIC, INCHELIUM, WAUCONDA, CHESAW ROAD,
  HIGHWAY 20 WAUCONDA SUMMIT, BOULDER CREEK ROAD, SHERMAN PASS,
  SANDPOINT, BONNERS FERRY, PRIEST RIVER, EASTPORT, SCHWEITZER
  MOUNTAIN ROAD, WENATCHEE, CHELAN, ENTIAT, CASHMERE,
  LEAVENWORTH, MAZAMA, TWISP, WINTHROP, STEHEKIN, CONCONULLY,
  BLEWETT PASS, LOUP LOUP PASS, OMAK, OKANOGAN, BREWSTER,
  BRIDGEPORT, OROVILLE, NESPELEM, DISAUTEL PASS, WATERVILLE,

  0.50" POSSIBLE IN SOME AREAS. ICE ACCUMULATIONS COMING FROM A
  COMBINATION OF FREEZING RAIN AND SLEET.

* TIMING...PERIODS OF LIGHT FREEZING RAIN AND SLEET MIXING WITH
  SNOW WILL BEGIN TONIGHT BECOMING STEADY WITH MODERATE INTENSITY
  AT TIMES TUESDAY. LIGHT TO MODERATE PRECIPITATION REMAINS
  POSSIBLE THROUGH WEDNESDAY NIGHT BUT THE THREAT FOR ICE FROM
  FREEZING RAIN AND SLEET SHOULD BE DIMINISHING TUESDAY AFTERNOON
  AND EVENING.

* IMPACTS...SIGNIFICANT ICE ACCUMULATIONS MAY CREATE TREACHEROUS
  TRAVEL CONDITIONS, TREE DAMAGE, AND POWER OUTAGES.

* TEMPERATURES...IN THE TEENS TO 20S...WARMING INTO THE 30S BY
  WEDNESDAY.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...6 TO 14 INCHES ABOVE 4000-6000 FEET.

* SNOW LEVEL...SNOW MAY MIX TO VALLEYS AT TIMES BUT MOST
  ACCUMULATIONS WILL BE ABOVE 4000-6000 FEET.
