...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 5 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO
5 PM MST MONDAY...

The National Weather Service in Pocatello has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for Snow and Blowing Snow, which is in effect
from 5 PM this afternoon to 5 PM MST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Difficult travel from snow covered and icy roads
  developing late this afternoon through Monday due to falling
  snow and blowing snow.

* TIMING...Heaviest snow showers this evening across the Sawtooths
  and Wood River Valley and overnight Sunday night through Monday
  morning for the Upper Snake Highlands.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...1 to 4 inches valleys and 5 to 9 inches
  with locally higher amounts above 7000 feet elevation.

* CONFIDENCE...Timing, medium. Amounts, medium. Impacts, medium to
  high.

* LOCATIONS...Galena Summit, Ashton Hill, Stanley, Clayton, St.
  Anthony, Ashton, Island Park, Driggs, Victor, Hailey, Ketchum,
  and Bellevue.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A winter weather advisory for snow and blowing snow means that
periods of snow and blowing snow will cause primarily travel
difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited
visibilities, and remember to take it slow in the snow.
