...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM MDT
TUESDAY...

* LOCATION...The eastern Sawatch and western Mosquito Mountains
  above 11000 feet including Fremont and Monarch Passes.

* CAUSE AND TIMING...A weather system will move through the
  central Colorado mountains tonight.

* SNOW ACCUMULATION...3 to 6 inches with locally higher amounts
  possible.

* WIND...Westerly 20 to 30 gusting to 40 mph resulting in areas
  of blowing snow and poor visibilities.

* IMPACT...Travel will be hazardous due to blowing snow, poor
  visibilities and icy or snow covered roads.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow means that
the combination of snow and wind will cause primarily travel
difficulties. Be prepared for poor visibilities and icy or snow
covered roads. Use caution while driving.

...WINTER STORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM TUESDAY EVENING
THROUGH WEDNESDAY MORNING...

* LOCATION...the Sangre de Cristo mountains above 11000 feet and
  the Wet Mountains above 10000 feet.

* CAUSE AND TIMING...a weather system will move across the area
  Tuesday through Wednesday morning, bringing the potential for
  significant snow accumulations over the higher mountain areas
  Tuesday night through Wednesday morning.

* SNOW ACCUMULATION...a foot or more will be possible.

* IMPACT...moderate to locally heavy snow will make travel
  difficult.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Storm Watch means there is a potential for significant
snow, sleet, or ice accumulations that may impact travel.
Continue to monitor the latest forecasts.
