URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE

...Heavy snow and strong wind expected across the Wind River
mountains, Green and Rattlesnake Ranges and Lander Foothills tonight
through late Friday Night...

.A strong upper level low is expected will bring a return to
winter weather for many areas. Heavy wet snow and very strong
northeast wind is expected to develop across the mountains and
higher elevations between the Wind River Mountains and Beaver Rim
and possibly into the Lander Foothills.

...WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM FRIDAY MORNING THROUGH LATE
FRIDAY NIGHT...

* TIMING...Rain will mix with snow and may change over to snow
  Friday morning and become heavy at times into Friday evening.

* SNOWFALL...1 to 3 inches near Hudson to possibly over a foot in
  Sinks Canyon State Park. However, there is still uncertainty as
  a difference in 1 or 2 degrees can make a big difference in
  accumulation.

* VISIBILITY...Visibility may be reduced to under one half a
  mile in heavy snow.

* MAIN IMPACT...Travel may become difficult with snow covered
  and snow packed roads.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A winter storm watch means there is a potential for significant
snow and/or blowing snow that may impact travel. Continue to
monitor the latest forecasts.

...WINTER STORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM LATE TONIGHT THROUGH
LATE FRIDAY NIGHT...

* TIMING...Snow...heavy at times...is expected to develop quickly
  late this evening and continue through late Friday night.

* SNOWFALL...1 to 2 feet with locally higher amounts.

* WIND AND VISIBILITY...Northeast 35 to 55 mph combined with
  heavy snow will likely produce near zero visibility at times
  in blizzard conditions.

* MAIN IMPACT...Travel over South Pass may become impossible by
  Friday due to heavy snow and 50 mph plus wind gusts.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A winter storm watch means there is a potential for significant
snow and/or blowing snow that may impact travel. Continue to
monitor the latest forecasts.

...WINTER STORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM LATE TONIGHT THROUGH
LATE FRIDAY NIGHT...

* TIMING...Snow...heavy at times...is expected to develop quickly
  late this evening over Beaver Rim and elevations above 6500 feet
  and continue through late Friday night. Some of the lower
  elevations like Jeffrey City and Sweetwater Station may see a
  rain or a rain snow mixture change to snow later Friday into
  Friday evening with a couple inches possible.

* SNOWFALL...8 to 16 inches over Beaver Rim with 1 to 4 inches
  elsewhere.

* WIND AND VISIBILITY...Northeast 30 to 45 mph combined with heavy
  snow will likely produce near zero visibility at times in
  blizzard conditions over Beaver Rim and the Green Mountains and
  Rattlesnake Range above 6500 feet. Snow contiunuing across the
  western mountains...with the heaviest snowfall expected above
  7500 feet.

* MAIN IMPACT...Travel over Beaver Rim may become impossible by
  Friday due to heavy snow and 45 mph plus wind gusts.
